Hi everyone.

I apologize for not uploading much lately, or at all. A lot has happened in the last few months. Here's a list:

I now live in Toronto. (yay)
I am going to school for photography (double yay)
Dramarama with family
aaand some other stuff that will become evident, soon.

I have some new stuff i'm gonna upload, sooo i just have to get around to resizing everything. I'm so far behind on here, as well as in real life. I have a facebook fan page, it's my side business alternately named Pandora. Take a look here :

Anyway, Toronto is great. Loving every minute of my time here. Made friends with everyone in my class, and meeting interesting people all the time.

Hi everyone,

About an hour ago, i received quite a lovely message from a fellow dA member. Now, i am not insulted, just merely amused by what was said in this comment and the amount of times it was posted on my account. 12 to be exact. I'm not stupid, i'm sure just posting it once would get my attention. However the one thing that annoys me the most is when Muslims attack other muslims, thinking they have the right to judge and thinking they know just about everything.

I've gotten so many hateful messages regarding this deviation. Most are just packed with stupidity, and most are from muslims because i think they feel somewhat threatened or insulted when they saw it. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, here's the deviation:

First i'd like you guys to read what this guy said:

But DA, as i look at it~ lets you express your feelings through ART... and yes you do have the freedom to do so and you did...and on the other hand i, the viewer, is allowed to post their comments on which ever picture they see and i am now activating my right...

i saw your page, not that interesting BTW, and i see that you're into a lot of exposure, am i wrong???
When i see things like this i tend to get very frustrated...why should i care??? you might ask...mind my own business you say??? ... well I'm a huge feminist and a very proud Muslim...I'm ashamed to see how far "ISLAM" has gone through the hands of you and the people like you... you make Islam seem so close to the others (religion [for your slow mind]) that its become nothing in front of the world (next generation)also, if i see that i know something is wrong i will stand up to it...

if you did feel that you felt the urge the NEED to post this picture you could post a "rated" block on it...some people don't want to see your crappy ART~

Haha, and he though i was going to delete his comments. I won't, i'll keep them on. Why? Well, it just goes to show how Muslims react to eachother these days.

Now, i know i don't need to explain mysef, but for this one comment i think its a good thing to do. I know a lot about islam, i know the rules, the doctrine, the jurisprudence and the philosophy behind it. Somethings i stand for, while others i have a hard time believing in. But that doesn't change who i am, i am still Muslim. i still submit myself to God.

Those who comment on my work, saying i am disgrace to all muslims, are actually the ones disgracing themselves. Where in Islam does it say : " Attack thy brother in Faith" or "Judge others and insult and degrade them" ?

God is the only one capable, and with he right to judge. Just like how this guy will stand up for whats wrong. I will to.
So let me ask you this: What am i doing wrong?

I'm not a lesbian. I am not an Atheist. I have never insulted islam, nor have i ever disrespected another muslim, christian, or jew etc.

And when i say dig deeper, I mean "THINK". I realize some people are incapable of such an act. But come on, nothing is what it looks like. There are layers to everything, meaning to everything. Islam is a prime example of that. I have not shown islam in bad light, it is the people who misinterpret who do.

A clarification: This photo is about the basic need of self love and desire. It's about being comfortable with who you are.

Sorry for this rant guys, but i am sick and tired of these Muslims these days. Insulting others that dare to question, or that dare to present things different is not the way to go. It will not prove anything, it will only prove your incapability of reasoning. Being a muslim means to be kind to others, to respect others no matter what. That's what the prophet did, why can't you?

Also, if i was the type that loves attention, i'd be posting my work here all the time. I have a lot more work that what's on dA and its the main reason why i don't put all my stuff, because i don't really care. I am not here to win a popularity contest, i am here to show my work. If others like it, then great. If not, that's great also. It's your right to comment and say what's on your mind, but when its at the expense of another human beings feelings and privacy then i will not stand for it.

Don't have too many features this time, but make sure to check these artists out.

Its been so cold here lately, i swear, just five minutes outside freezes your brain. GAH.

Friday is supposed to bring some pleasant weather, and also a possible shoot!

Not many features this month because i've been busy with school and haven't had much time to browse for deviations. Hopefully next month is different.
